Replay
What is it?
A step-by-step reconstruction of the same deterministic governed resolution.
Replay exposes source selection, Assertion selection, precedence, gap preservation, and result construction without changing the canonical output.
It is a read-only projection of the current execution's canonical Operational Ledger records, with event order and integrity retained.
Organizational Reality
An employee asks, “Why did the organization deny my request?” The manager remembers the outcome, but not every source and boundary involved.
The organization must reconstruct the governing decision after the fact. That is difficult when the path was never preserved as part of the decision.
Why it happens
This commonly happens because decisions are usually explained after they are made. If the path was not preserved, reconstruction depends on memory and scattered notes.
How it relates
- QuestionStarting context.
- SelectionsAssertions and evidence.
- Decision pathAuthority and gaps.
- AnswerSame result reconstructed.
Replay shows the same path the resolver used, step by step.
