Document Sources

What is it?

Approved organizational documents such as policies, procedures, and handbooks.

A Document Source is approved organizational material such as a policy, procedure, handbook, or supported internal document.

During this evaluation, document upload is limited to three documents. Choosing documents does not persist files or extract Candidate Assertions yet.

Organizational Reality

Operations stores procedures across Word documents, PDFs, SharePoint folders, and email attachments.

Nobody knows which document is current. A supervisor may follow a printed checklist while a new manager searches a folder and finds a newer file with different wording.

Why it happens

This commonly happens because documents multiply faster than ownership practices. Versions, copies, and attachments drift until nobody can tell which source should govern.
