What is it?
Two plain ways to begin bringing organizational knowledge into SALARA.
A website can represent approved public organizational knowledge. Documents can represent policies, procedures, handbooks, or other supported organizational material.
During this evaluation, document upload is limited to three documents and remains isolated from Compass One.
Organizational Reality
One team treats the website as the current policy. Another treats the signed PDF as the authoritative version. A third team relies on a handbook section that has not been updated in months.
The conflict is not really about file format. It is about which source the organization recognizes as the source people should use.
Why it happens
This commonly happens because organizations treat format as a proxy for authority. A website, PDF, or handbook may be useful, but usefulness does not by itself decide what governs.
